The Toyota Yaris is well known for being firmly established as Toyota’s best-selling model in Europe. To mark the 20thanniversary of the Yaris Toyota have launched a new Y20 grade to the 2019 model range, with each featuring gold paintwork similar to that used by the first Yaris back in 1998.

The Y20 models will include a new multimedia system enabling easy smartphone integration and access to useful apps. Operation is via a central touchscreen, along with smartphone-enabled route navigation. A new microphone and dedicated button can be found on the head unit to reduce driver distraction. Makes driving much less stressful

As I expected, the hybrid drive makes driving in stop-start traffic much less stressful – you just glide forward silently each time the queue moves. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also makes long journeys significantly less tiring than any other car I have owned.

Petrol economy is excellent
